Conrad L. Felix Jr.
JEG, Inc. is dedicating this center to an extraordinary mentor whose generosity of his love, time and calling for God impacted the lives of so many.
From a healer of the body, to a healer of the spirit, is an apt description of the transformation of Dr. Conrad L Felix, Jr., known to many as Brother Conrad, a lay evangelizer who is the head servant of Koinonia Foundation, Inc.

He practiced medicine in obstetrics and gynecology, oncology, preventive and alternative medicine and hospital administration to prepare him to start his own hospital in Makati City, Philippines. The Holy Spirit intervened in 1983, after running out of excuses he attended a Life in the Spirit Seminar that brought metanoia into his life. Under the tutelage of Msgr. Tony Unson, his pastor and director of the Laity at the Archdiocese of Manila, Bro. Conrad gradually evolved into a preacher, supported by his wife, Sis Bing Felix and their five children and conducted workshops and seminars in the greater Manila area.
In 1986, the whole family migrated to California and in 1987, they moved to the East Coast and settled in Lyndhurst, NJ where the Jesus and Mary Catholic Renewal Ministry(precursor of Koinonia Foundation, Inc) was based. Countless LSS workshop and seminars were held in New Jersey, Philadelphia and New York area, from which sprung charismatic parish based prayer groups. Through the years, Koinonia Foundation, Inc. has been involved in the Youth Formation, Marriage Encounters, Family Encounters, Pilgrimages and also a charter member of the Birhen Ng Antipolo, Inc. an Asian Catholic organization recognized by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops

He retired from his work as a technologist in Nuclear Medicine and remains busy as ever “fanning the flame” of evangelization in the grass-root level. Bro Conrad became the consultant of the Filipino Services, Delegate of the Archbishop for Charismatic Prayer Groups in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, under the direction of Fr. John Kelly.
In 2015, he found out that he has lung cancer stage 4 and became ill after an LSS in Philadelphia. He continues to preach and spread the love of God to everyone he encounters with until the time when the Lord took his life at the eve of the launching of JEG to the community on September 19, 2015. His wife, Sis. Bing, chose to stay in Florida after Bro Conrad passed away to support the community that they have established there. However, Sis Bing passed away on August 2016 barely one year to join Bro Conrad in heaven.
Bro. Conrad shared with this community the various words of wisdom that he has imparted so many times but otherwise not known nor remembered by so many of us. Here are among so many.

Bro. Conrad always said that "GOD provides". For someone who is new to the renewal, that is hard to understand. Many have criticized this belief. He said that our community is truly blessed and has all the money to do the things that we do. The only problem, is, that the money is still in our pockets or wallets! Truly, talking about stewardship, it is not only about the time, talent and treasure that we ought to share, but most importantly, it is about all that our God had given us and all that we are willing to give back rightfully to Him! THANK YOU Bro. Conrad for this reminder.

He has said: if after praying, you are prompted to plan a project, form a group of people or in renewal term - “Body of Christ” and go ahead and plan knowing and believing that God is in control. If God wills it, then it will happen and bear much fruit. But if it’s not God’s plan then it will die a natural death. THANK YOU Bro. Conrad for this wisdom.
Bro Conrad emphasizes that the mark of a true leader is to be able to shepherd and inspire another one that will follow his footsteps and embrace the anointed role with humility, obedience and love. He has left us with remarkable true leaders, rightfully inspired by how Bro. Conrad lived and shared his life with us to lead this community the way he has inspired and taught us to be humble servants for the glory of our God, nothing less, nothing more. Bro. Conrad, THANK YOU for leading us for what we are today.

He also shared with us that to evangelize you do not have to be a somebody, well-educated, a seasoned speaker or a well-known talk giver. He says, it's not about what you like or want to do but it is about what God's community needs or what God needs for you to do for His community without counting the cost, the labor, the sweat, and the tears. We are mere servants used by our God to do great things for His glory! THANK YOU Bro. Conrad for this understanding.
He said it over and over again. Money is the root of evil. You cannot blend evangelization with money matters. One must realize that Bro. Conrad's mission and vision of his whole ministry is what he has done ever since and even with his and Sis. Bing's passing, this is what we still do today. In his own words, the only missing ministry in here is the Administration and that of the center itself. May the plans of the Joshua Evangelization Group - an entity that is inspired to plan, acquire and maintain a Corporate Center for the activities of our community be a reality in the future, God willing! Bro. Conrad, THANK YOU for your unconditional support for this initiative!

Lastly, he always reminds that we are all created and commissioned to become Saints. WOW!! It is not how gifted or pious or empowered you are but instead, it’s the desires of your heart and the efforts that you spend despite the hardships of this passing world and yet stay focused and steadfast to become better and holier everyday of your life. Only then, you would have done justice to God’s plan in you. God is good…all the time. THANK YOU Bro. Conrad for this grace of hope.
Bro. Conrad and Sis. Bing, for all the endless breaking of bread, fellowship and days of renewal that we all loved and shared in the past, we thank you deeply and your legacy will always stay in our hearts. We miss you a lot and we love you both.
